able to stop their 5 game losing streak and topped the pathetic Chainsaw
Proctologists by the slimmest of margins, 3 to 2.
The score was tied at 2 after nine. Streator came out on top in the 10th
inning. Mark Kotsay laced a base-knock. Matt Kemp stepped up next and he
hit a single. Ryan Garko then laced a one-base hit making Streator the
winners and sending the 13,181 fans home happy. Overall Streator out-hit
Chainsaw 12 to 8.
Matt Lindstrom(4-0) went 1 inning allowing no runs for the win. The losing
pitcher was Lance Cormier(1-3) in relief. 'Ahhh, how sweet it is,' Ralph
Madara sighed. 'That win feels like a tall, cool drink of water after
spending far too much time in the desert lately.'
